This is how it usually starts.

You open the menu and think, “First time… what should I try?”

You’re not alone.

You’ll likely start with something warm and saucy.

Tteokbokki is usually the first thing that catches your attention.

Soft, chewy rice cakes in a thick, glossy sauce. Spicy, slightly sweet, and full of flavour.

It comes in hot, and that smell hits before your first bite.

If you want something heavier, rabokki adds ramen into that same sauce. The noodles soak everything in, making each bite richer.

Then you’ll want something lighter to balance it out.

Kimbap is simple and clean. Soft rice, light sesame flavour, easy to enjoy alongside anything.

If you want a bit more heat, spicy kimbap adds that extra kick.

Japchae is another option. Smooth glass noodles, slightly sweet, soft and easy to keep eating.

Then comes the crispy part.

Korean fried chicken. You hear the crunch first. Then the juicy inside.

Yangnyeom gives you that sticky sweet-spicy glaze. Kanjang gives you something deeper, soy garlic, clean and savoury.

If you feel like exploring more:

Bibimbap, jjajangmyeon, samgyeopsal.

And something on the side: Corn dogs, mandu, hotteok.

Most first orders are simple. One main. One side.

That’s enough.
